Graphs and
Statistical Data

To enhance your World's Fair final draft, you will be creating graphs to represent statistical information about your country.

Your final report must include three graphs:

  • One population graph
  • One economy graph
  • One health graph OR one language graph

Environment and other graphs are "extras."

Suggested topics within each category include:

Population: literacy rate (men vs. women), age, refugees, foreign born population, urban growth rate, languages spoken, human development rate

Health: undernourished, infant mortality rate, birth rate, death rate, life expectancy

Economy: GDP, GDP per capita, tourist arrivals, poverty rate, unemployment, primary, primary energy product

Technology: motor vehicles, telephone lines, internet users, television receivers, newspaper circulation

Environment: CO2 emissions, surface area, forested area, cropland per capita, precipitation, threatened species, water resources per capita
