Emergency Resources:
Salvation Army
The Salvation Army provides grants to those displaced by fires and financial assistance for the immediate and long-term needs of fire victims.

211 LA County: Offers comprehensive support, including shelter, food, and healthcare services. Dial 2-1-1
FEMA Assistance: Federal aid is available for disaster-related expenses. You can apply at disasterassistance.gov.
IRS Tax Extension for Wildfire Victims.
Housing:
Airbnb.org is providing free, temporary housing for people who the Los Angeles wildfires have displaced. The organization has partnered with 211 LA to connect people with a free place to stay.
LA Leasing offers a list of available housing options for short-term and long-term lease. Please review the Tabs for categories based on location.
Hotel Surplus is offering assorted hotel liquidation items for donation to those who lost their homes or have been displaced from housing, and will also be discounting a wide array of new furniture for those in need. Families can reach out to
help@hotelsurplus.com.
Child Care:
Care Camps: LA County Parks Care Camps will provide youth and teens with a supportive space for fun and recreation, including music, arts and crafts, sports activities, and field trips to the LA County Natural History Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, Dodger Stadium, & more. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided daily; teens will also get supper.
Boys and Girls Club: Our hearts go out to all communities affected by the Greater Los Angeles fires. With schools closed and families displaced, we're opening our doors to ALL youth ages 6 - 18. Registration fees have been waived during this time so that all kids in need have a safe place to go.
Project Camp: We know that the days immediately following an evacuation or a disaster are highly uncertain, stressful, and anxious days. We help parents find normalcy for their families by providing fun, immersive, and safe day camps for their kids. While kids have a blast at camp, parents have the time and space to get back on their feet.
